What is a Lemonette Bag?

A Lemonette Bag is our reusable laundry bag — the bag your laundry travels in, every time. It's how we keep pricing simple: instead of putting your clothes on a scale, we charge one flat price per bag.

You fill the bag at home, we pick it up, wash and fold everything inside, and bring it right back in the same bag. We don't price by weight or item count for Residential Reservations.

There are two sizes — Petite and Full — and you can send as many of each as you need in a single pickup.

Petite Lemonette Bag

Wash, Dry & Fold: $35 per bag

Best for lighter loads and approximately one standard laundry basket.

Full Lemonette Bag

Wash, Dry & Fold: $65 per bag

Best for larger loads and approximately two standard laundry baskets.

Each bag must close completely without straining. Clothing may not extend above the opening, and laundry placed outside the bag cannot be accepted.

I · Getting started

Your first Lemonette Bag

Your first reusable Lemonette Bag is complimentary with your first completed laundry service.

New customers do not need a Lemonette Bag before their first pickup. Place your laundry inside a clean, securely closed 13-gallon household bag.

Your Lemonette Attendant will bring your selected Petite or Full Lemonette Bag at pickup, transfer and label your laundry, and return your order inside your new reusable bag.

After your first completed service, all future laundry must be placed inside an official Lemonette Bag.

Additional Lemonette Bags

Need more than one bag? Additional reusable Lemonette Bags may be purchased when booking:

Additional Petite Lemonette Bag: $10
Additional Full Lemonette Bag: $15

Each additional bag is purchased once and may be reused for future orders.

III · Bundling

Multiple-bag orders

Customers may send multiple Petite or Full Lemonette Bags in the same order and may combine both sizes. Each bag is charged separately according to its size and selected service.

Two Petite Bags: $70
One Petite Bag and One Full Bag: $100
Two Full Bags: $130

IV · Delivery

Pickup and return delivery

Pickup and return delivery are complimentary for all customers located in Oak Park and River Forest.

A flat $15 pickup and return delivery fee applies to customers outside Oak Park and River Forest within our extended service area.

Additional distance fees may apply depending on location.

What should I use for my first pickup?

Place your laundry inside a clean, securely closed 13-gallon household bag. Your official Lemonette Bag will be brought to you during pickup.

Is my first Lemonette Bag free?

Yes. One Petite or Full Lemonette Bag is complimentary with your first completed laundry service.

What if I need more than one bag?

Additional Petite Bags are $10 each, and additional Full Bags are $15 each.

Do I have to purchase another bag every time?

No. Lemonette Bags are reusable. Once purchased, you may continue using them for future orders.

Can I send laundry in a regular garbage bag after my first order?

No. After your first completed service, all laundry must be placed inside an official Lemonette Bag.

What happens if my bag is overfilled?

The bag must close completely and comfortably. An overfilled Petite Bag may be upgraded to the Full Bag price. Laundry that does not fit inside the bag will require an additional Lemonette Bag and customer authorization before service.

Can I use my own laundry bag instead?

Our flat-rate bag system is the heart of the Little Lemonette experience, but if you have a special circumstance and prefer to use your own bag, we offer a by-the-pound option for select cases. Just send us a request from the “Use your own bag” page and we'll be happy to arrange it.
